Lord Woe
Lord Woe is an extra dimensional being from a race that thrives on negative emotional energy.
They don’t want to rule us or kill us, they just want us to suffer, a lot.
Lord Woe is the equivalent of a farmer. It is his responsibility to get out into the “normal” universe and drum up some quality misery for the folks back home to dine on. He particularly likes Earth as he actually has very little to do and yet manages to exceed his quota on a regular basis.
His main problem is not the “heroes” of Earth but rather competition from back home. He also needs to be seen doing something on occasion for the sake of appearances. To that end, his physical manifestation in our universe tends towards the dramatic and he is fond of a cloud of dark nebulous energy, in the vague shape of a cloaked man, with an ornate medieval helmet that has a closed face plate and glowing eyes from within. The dark/nebulous energy will frequently depict an evil version of his background – So if standing in a field of flowers, the scene through his energy would be of a wasteland. A schoolyard full of happy children would through his “silhouette” be of starving orphans/zombies etc…
When he does do “public” appearances his schemes are invariably decoys while the real payoff is far too subtle for anyone to guess.
He didn’t invent the Spanish inquisition or the Credit Crunch but takes credit for both. He reckons Mother Nature aced the grade with puberty though and wishes that he had thought of it first.
And there you have it sketch group fans! Sharpen those pencils, or use a dull one `cause it makes an interesting line too, and start drawing :D!
