It's time for wild and wooly weekly sketch group #256! Every PJ member is welcome to post a sketch (or as many as you'd like ;)) in the weekly sketch group, so please join us this week, next week and every week! Got a great idea for a sketch group topic you would like to draw or see your fellow artists draw? Just PM me the details and I'll endeavor to include it in a future installment!

WSG #256 topics:

1. The Incredible Hulk: With the Avengers blockbuster movie coming out, it's time to get pumped up! And who is more pumped up than the Hulk? Draw your favorite version of old jade jaws! For bonus points draw Loston's favorite version- The 1970s Hulk!

2. Character Redesign: the Flash! Let your imagination roam, come up with a new costume for a big-budget movie of the scarlet speedster; Make him a Marvel character(or Image ;)) or imagine the flash in some other time period or world. The sky is the limit!

3. Hollywood Badasses: Angelina Jolie. Yes, Mrs. Brad Pitt has kicked butts from one end of Hollywood to another. Draw her in any of her most iconic roles or dream up a new one for her to play!

4. Original Character or Concept:

Vespa Pierce (AKA The Retrievalist)

A 21-year old curvaceous Australian Ex-Master Thief with long curly blonde hair. She has given up stealing from innocents and only uses her skills to retrieve things that have been lost/taken and return them to their rightful owners. Her look should be forever ready for action like a cross between Lara Croft and Catwoman. Just try to avoid the cliched skintight black bodysuit.

And there you have it sketch group fans! Sharpen those pencils, or use a dull one `cause it makes an interesting line too, and start drawing :D!

I just got a beta of Photoshop 6 that's good for 60 days. I figured I would come off the sidelines and join WSG while I put it through it's paces and do all digital art from start to finish.

For those too young to remember, TAB was a 1970s-80s sugar free diet soda that tasted terrible.

And for those who want to know what it tastes like, they still make it but it's hard to find. So, here's what you do. Mix Nyquil, Dr. Pepper and a little cinnamon! I remember it all too well, my mother was addicted to it in the early eighties. That and Shasta.
