Hey everybody, in this contest for both artists AND writers, either write a 5 pg. story and/or draw a page/sequential where two public domain characters (from different works) interact with each other.

Both artists and writers are free to reinterpret that character if they so wish.

So if you've been waiting for a chance to write/draw that Cinderella-Black Terror team up, this'd be your chance.

DEADLINE: May 31st

I am very down for a contest for writers and artists, but nothing's jumping out at me about the specific challenge. It is pretty damn cool to know that some of these characters are public domain though!

Man... If I had the time I'd be all over a Cowboy Sahib/Zarro the zombie master. Alas,

Looks like fun! Hope there's a lot of participation!

@ Jack Wong and PR Man - well, the deadline isn't til the last day of may, so if an idea comes to mind and you've got the time, I'd love to see your submissions.

Not bad! This actually interests me more than the 70's DC/M writing challenge!

Lemme get started!

And if anyone wants to try a mad dash for the 15th of May - how about the following? PM me if interested? http://www.penciljack.com/forum/showthread.php?113513-Tarnished-anthology-open-submissions

Are we required to find our own partners or are we grouped based on posting in the thread? I'm interested as a writer. Have a character in mind too.

This isn't a partner challenge.

Either write and/or draw something based on a public domain character and then submit it.
