Welcome to Weekly Sketch Group #254! Every PJ member is welcome to post a sketch (or as many as you like ;)) in the weekly sketch group, so please join us this week and every week! WSG #254 topics:

1. The Winter Soldier: Formerly Bucky Barnes, then Soviet Super-Agent, most recently filled in for Captain America when he was "killed".

2. Star Sapphire: Hot chick and nemesis of the Green Lantern!

3. Original Character or Concept:

Albany Jennings:

in the space of eight months, Albany went from being a high school dropout , lead singer of the platnum selling southern metal band "White Mule" to relative obscurity. A chance encounter with her fugitive former boyfriend Miller, ended with her immortality, then decapitation by scheming vampiric forces orchestrated by her estranged Father, Dr Harold Jennings, the leading authority on cybernetics, and Facilitator of the M.A.R.D.U.K. organization.
Albany's immortality was the key to grafting her brain into a Cybernetic Body, and her Father's decades of experimentation on their shared DNA made her the perfect recipient for his advanced upgrades. Albany and Miller (also experimented upon) manage to escape, and vow to stop her Father's plan to unite humanity. A plan which has sinister means to accomplishing it's ends.
Branded outlaws, Albany and Miller are in effect trying to bring about the end of the world, a World ruled by forces that plot our enslavement

Albany is a petite woman in her early twenties. She has short platinum Blonde hair, and excessive freckles. beneith her self-repairing artificial skin is a sleek sophisticated Cybernetic body, except for her lower legs which are signifigantly less sophisticated and slightly bulky

she has superhuman agilty and strength, and is capable of firing energy blasts from her forearms. she is capable of altering her body to impersonate others, and can absorb energy attacks, and redirecting them after a short digestion period.

her clothing tastes reflect a southern rock/biker style.

Woo-Hoo! Firsties!

Did my daughter as silver age star sapphire, and figured Id throw my boy in there as well. Lilly's a loving kid witha huge heart, and her brother Owen is an engine of blind endless rage. Seriously, that little guy has incredible potential for anger, so their respective ring spectrums are amazingly accurate

I was missing the sketch group... I got a bit too many programs, and those did not leave time for drawing. But I made a promise to myself to make up for it and late-post for the last two weeks. See how it goes. :-)

I just got onto PencilJack, so this is my first post! I love the idea of these Sketch Groups, will try and make sure i do this every week!
Decided to do Star Sapphire. Not very familiar with the character so i did some costume redesign and chose to make her a little more buff and "She-Hulky". Dunno why just felt like a cool look!
