So I am going to be doing the WIZARD WORLD NEW ORLEANS con this year in Jan and also wanting to do up DRAGON CON in Atlanta, GA. Anyone live near any of those places that are going to them? I would love to meet up and have a jam session or a meet and greet kind of thing going on. It would be nice to meet some of you guys and dolls.

I did Seoul Comic World... but I'm guessing that's pretty far for most of you. Sirandal made it... but he barely talked to me. :(

Well damn man, sucks Sirandal ignored you mostly. Maybe it was an awkward thing? Me and AURONASIA just did up MECHACON in New Orleans.. it was good, but the parking and such really reamed us good. Found out that at anime con's, original art doesn't sell as much as costume and pendant and badges do. That and they mostly just go to hang out and be otaku's and weeaboo's. Auronasia will be with me at the upcoming conventions, but I would still like some fresh company.
gonna do Long Beach comic con in october. should be fun.
It's been almost (gasp) 10 years since my last confe..convention. Wonder what dates the British one is next year. it's closer and those nutty Brits are so entertaining.

Just did Baltimore and my next one is the NC Comicon in November which is a cool little show. I would love to get back to Dragon Con at some point. Heroes Con is always a bust for me. I would like to do more of the big cons in the near future.

What Juggertha fails to mention is that 3 of his closest friends he has had here in Seoul for the last 10 years were hanging out with him. It is a little tough to break the ice with that kind of tight clique. Also we went to dinner after Jugg sold out AND traveled together on mass trans for much of the way home. That doesnt make as humorous an anecdote though. ;)

Yeah, I sort of expected my table to be boring and Sirandal would have to sit with me for half the day keeping me company.
Turned out I was busy.
Who knew?

Well I just went to FanExpo up here I Canada and met Jeremy Dale there.
As for DragonCon as far as I know today was the last day for it.
I'm definitely planning on WWNO. So I'll probably be seeing you there.
I was in Spring-Con in Minneapolis and got to meet President! That was pretty cool.....I'm sure I'll be seeing him again at Fall-Con in October too!

I will see you there man. Must be nice to live in NO and not have to spend all that money on the damn parking there. That got me the most.. all the money I spent on parking. Oh well. I am just used to ambient amount of parking around here.
So what other cons have people been to? Anymore stories?

Come to England!
So far this year I've done Kapow, Bristol, The London Film & Comic con and Birmingham --- and I'm doing Thought Bubble in Leeds in November.
Oh, and my local comic store (in Maidstone, Kent) did its own comic con (called Demon Con) earlier this year - and I had a table there too. There's another one in November. We're quite lucky because Dan Abnett is a local - and he comes along and draws in the crowds. :)
