Sorry I didn't have the time to finish man. Love your pages good stuff angles could be a bit more varied, and your sideview could use some work, but in general pretty cool.

... This is tough. I like what T-K managed to get done. Really digging his style. JJ's is funny and well-drawn... hmm.

I don't wanna penalize T-K for simply not finishing, but I can't help but respect the fact that JJ got 3 sequential pages done (ok, one's a full-page and the other is one drawing split in a few places, so i guess that's not QUITE 3 sequentials, but still about the same amount of work regardless). Though JJ's also has a rough, unfinished quality to it.

I almost feel that T-Ks would be STRONGER without the haphazard stairway and door sketched in, or if he'd completed the line-work instead of coloring in the figures.

Gonna wait on this for a day or so.

Linework is actually finished th rest would be in just color. But I see your point.

I was going for the 360 degree camera view, but it ended up being off from the preliminary sketches and I didn't know how to make it quite perfect. Maybe have to try doing some of this with the ol video camera. Plus Animation boards. That should help.

I hear the concerns of "unfinishedness." It sort of works with parts, but screws up a lot of the backgrounds and various other parts. It's largely a scanner issue. At least as far as muddiness; it does happen to pick up lines well, so all the linework is on the page. So much screwin around with the levels and brightness and dodging and erasing. If anybody has any tips on scanning and such tediousness please, do tell.

I'll probably post it around for critique's after but I am still curious about the story. I'm never sure about my writing cause most of the time nobody sees it. Thinking about expanding the story a bit maybe, not sure how. Napoleon needs to be more French but that doesn't bother me much. It occurs to me that I always write these like I'm leaving a voice mail. Uh, ok, go ahead and gimme a call, bye.

That squiggle line in TK's is so contrasted by the finished work on Marie and Zooey that it magnifies the piece as unfinished to me.

JJ's might be sketchy but it's consistent. And I love that establishing shot in the first page.

Good to see you back TK! That's really tight artwork! Much improved good sir! I got to agree the squiggly linework seems detached, mostly because it doesn't link in at all with the characters, would've been cool if some lines of the characters ended in squiggly lines or something.
I had to vote for JJ McKool simple because I loved his crazy ass story. Seriously..it's funny and something unexptected in penciljack.
The first page is really awesome too with the panels moving the character and timeline forward yet it's just one simple splashimage. The camera panning 360 around the character is a nice touch aswell on the last sequential. Only thing that let's you down is your art. Only really on the third page, where it shows you could do with some life drawing and anatomy. But as a comic writer/director type, it's looking promising.

Good going TK, shame you couldn't get it finished, but gotta say good job on Zoe's likeness, and some nice coloring. Had to go with JJ's though, it's more complete and in many parts, very well drawn.

Thanks dude, that's reassuring, agreed about the anatomy and signed up for a September figure drawing class.
