How do you guys sort comics?
By release/issue number? 1-10. 11-20. etc
By collection? 1-5,8,23. 6-7. 9. 15-19,22,156. etc
Theoretical chronological order? 213. 56. 318. 1-15. etc

Theoretical chronological Order?
I put all the green lanterns in one box, and put issue 1 first, issue two alfter that, and so on.
I give all those archie digest books to my daughter, and the old valient comic to my boy. My wife made me get rid of all the Cherry comics.....

Theoretical chronical order works from flash backs etc. so if issue one starts when character is 35. But issue 235 shows them when they are 5 years old, then 235 would go before issue one.

- Alphabetical by publisher. (ex: Archie -> Dark Horse -> DC -> Dynamite -> Image -> Marvel) next:
- Alphabetical by title. (ex: within DC, Batman -> The Flash -> Green Lantern -> Justice -> Superman -> Teen Titans -> Watchmen) next:
- Alphabetical by story title. This one is troublesome, because normally, chronologically would be the way to go, except I personally have a hard time telling what goes in what order, and I think looking up dates is a bit of a bother. (ex: Batman Arkham Asylum -> Haunted Knight -> Hush -> Knightfall -> Mad Love -> Under the Hood -> War Games)

I do a combo of both. I keep publishers in order. And for the most part I just have them in order issueXissue or in my case volumeXvolume. And the only one I do differently is Batman. I have those in chronological order according to his career. I find it more interesting to interpret what I think would have come earlier or later in his career...
