Hello all, a while back I posted an ad looking for an artist to partner up with for a submission to the Eagles Initiative. While I found a great artist, he sadly had to drop the project due to a family emergency, and I was unable to find a replacement in time to make their deadline.
This loss can be your gain however. I am currently looking to use the 10 page script and submit it to Digital Webbing Presents. In case you're unfamiliar with it, digital webbing is one of the premiere comic networking sites, and DWP (http://www.digitalwebbing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149062) is their digital anthology for showcasing new talent.
Here's the pitch:
"The story is titled 'The Swan Song of Superium.' It's a very tongue-in-cheek, sort of self deprecating story about an effective but aloof superhero who decides to go on vacation, because being a superhero is hard. Needless to say, no superhero vacation in the history of the planet has ever gone off without a hitch, and pretty soon he's placed in a position where he has to decide whether or not to make the ultimate sacrifice and save the people he placed in harms way through his carelessness."
To just submit I would need an artist with some lettering capabilities, color can be added latter (assuming we're accepted.) Sorry to say this is not a paid position, however it is an opportunity for some decent exposure.
