I just don't see this former Nazi (or son of a Nazi or whatever) holding his gun like a street thug. :)

Yet holding a glowing, floating globe seems that much more realistic to you?

I LOVE ABraun's piece. Both the vibe and technical skill to it is impressive. But come on man, seems kind of odd that you're pointing that realism finger at me alone.

Great job to both of you, but I can't believe that nobody has brought up that the character's name is Baron ZEMO, with a Z, not Nemo, which is either an animated fish or the fearsome captain of the Jules Verne novel 20,000 leagues under the sea.

Now back to the artwork. Again great job from both. I am undisturbed by the pose in Juggertha's piece and think it is the kind of arrogant/crazy pose that the character would exhibit when on a rant. ABraun's piece is really superlative and looks like the cover of a comic or dime-store novel. In the end I went with Juggertha's Zemo, but only by a hair.

I wanted to say something, but I didn't want to get wedgied by someone with more Marvel knowledge than me.

... nobody has brought up that the character's name is Baron ZEMO, with a Z, not Nemo...

FIRST THING I THOUGHT SEEING THIS.

Initially I thought Juggy did have a thugged out Zemo, but really looking at it, I can see Zemo going nuts on some henchmen after letting Capt America take out a missile depot and caught like this. Abraun, I like the image, but the color choice kind of kills it for me. They're waaay to vibrant for me. I don't like the fire(?) background either, seems out of place. Juggs colors choice is what made my vote.

Great job both though!

HOly frak! I can't believe I did that. Shoot, I should lose votes just for that. lol

I'm really impressed by this fight though. I think that Abraun is a serious contender, and for a 4 day SF, this is some dam decent art from both of us. If I lose to his piece, it'd be a loss well worth taking. I watched his livestream video and was mucho impressed. I have to say though, I dug the black and white version a bit more.

As for the 'thug pose' issue, the more I look at it, the more I can see where Geekboy was coming from. It's just that I've lived away from N America for so long, I don't really think much of thug life.

Thanks Jugs...honestly, when I started this piece, I didn't know how it was going to turn out...that was the first time I did full digital(I usually draw on paper and scan)...but, after seeing your piece, I knew I had to bring it...and I don't think yours is a thug pose, but a 'you want some of this' pose :)

Win or lose, this has been fun

I didn't mean to sound insulting or anything, Juggs. You know I love you, bro. It just really stuck out at me and I couldn't think of a more clear way of conveying what I was thinking without sounding like an ass. It has all sorts of technical things going for it, but growing up in the country, where people actually use guns all the time, the only place I see people hold guns like that are in movies starring rappers.

Juggy nailed the composition and the finishes , I think this is easily my favorite piece by him. Great work both of you .
