It looks like its that time again everyone. That's right, its time to take me out to eat at a Thai restaurant.

Huh?...oh..really?.

Ok so it looks like it's basically impossible to take me to a Thai restaurant using the "information super highway." Maybe when Google, Apple, Microsoft or whoever finally gets off their ass and makes an "app for that" you can but until then, it's a no-go.

But at least we still have the Weekly Sketch Group! Speaking of which, it's also Weekly Sketch Group time! And as an added bonus...It's on time. So with that being said let's get to this week's topics and as always anyone can join at anytime and if you have a suggestion for a topic just PM me. Now onto to this week's topics.

Oliver and his wife have been happily married for 5 years, which is pretty amazing considering that his wife Kara died 2 years ago in a horrible accident. But since Oliver is an arcane alchemist by trade anything is possible.

Awesome Flash, Anubis2kx! I really dig the blur-effect, it really adds to the sensation of speed! Cool Flash, Loston! I really dig the Bruce Timm animated JL version you are rocking here!

This was inspired by W.Blankenship's superhero drawings on colored backgrounds up in the finished works area (he's still got a few threads up there on the first page). He's using black and white ink and some white paint. I decided to use a bit of yellow paint as well. Not all that thrilled with it, but it's a first try. Working on a red background like that for an hour or so is pretty brutal on the eyes, though. Gotta pick a nice pastel color next time, LOL.

Thanks! I totally agree on him being too muscle-bound. The pose was based on a drawing that I used to like of the Hulk. I habitually left him too buff.

I'm new comer here and this is my 1st WSG. I know, since it's The Flash in Barry Allen era, I've made a mistake. The boots are incorrect because there are no wings attached to them. But I don't have enough time to fix it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it... :)

Well, this is as good a time as any to see if I have improved or not. The first images is one of the first that I posted to Pencil Jack back in the challenges section a long time ago. The second is my entry for the week. They both feature the flash. I think I see some improvement, but not a ton. It looks like I have been smearing ink for quite a while either way.

Not the cleanest of drawings, for which I apologize. I was considering adding more color to it but it was 3AM by that point and I decided I needed the sleep more than Barry needed the color. :P

A word on the reference for this. I was trying my best to come up with a running pose I haven't used before and a quick search on Google Images turned up this photo (http://s1.hubimg.com/u/2104652_f260.jpg) of a sprinter taking off from the blocks. I thought the pose and the angle of the shot was really cool and figured I'd use it as the starting point for this. :)

and explaining to the cop just exactly "where the fire was"...haha.
