A character for a new comic that I'm about to start working on. Possibly final design sketched out this morning (I think I gave her slightly too small head and too thick legs?)

The idea was to blend Robin Hood and Red Riding Hood into one character.
Tried to go with a design that would be mostly practical. :D

Sounds like a cool idea AB! She looks like one tough customer. The left foot seems to be floating slightly. Maybe angle it down a tad so it looks like it is planted on the ground even with the other foot somewhat?
Just remember, an English longbow was a serious piece of wood, not the little toothpick she's rockin now.
no basket full of goodies for grandma? :P

Thanks. It was meant to look like the foot is a bit behind the other one, but I guess I blew it, haha. (not to mention too skinny ankle on that one).

I wanted a bow of a reasonable size for a more... "run and gun" type of action, and not something to mow enemy soldiers on the battle field.
Grandma? I have plans for her too (no sketches scanned though, you might see her once I start posting pages or something). She's not the "basket of goodies" type though :D
